THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOItEWOOD, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS:
Sect 1. The City Code of the City of Shorewood is hereby amended by adding Title 130
License, Permit, Service Charges and Miscellaneous Fees to read as follows:
1300.01 Purpose: Fees and charges by the City of Shorewood are established as set forth i

(SHORELAND R$AULATIONS)
The Ordinance u the show ewood Zoning'
Code to comply wit]1 current Minnesota Depart-
ment of Natural Resources Shoreland Manage-
ment Regulations. The Shoreland District en-
of compasses all =rty located within 1000 feet
the various lakes in the City and within 300
feet of Purgatory Creek. The Ordinance
classifies all lakes and streams and regulates
development, inclu eiing the use of land, lot sizes,
and the use, size and location of structures
within shoreland areas. The Ordinance limits
alteration of shoreland areas by controlling
grading, filling and clearing of vegetation. Pro-
cedures are established for obtaining variances
and for planned unit development. Ickes and
streams in Shorewood which are protected by
this Ordinance are: 1) Lake Minnetonka; 2)
Lake William* 3T Christmas Lake; 4) Galpin
Lake 5) L&4en4AU; 6) Lake Virginia; 7)
Como Lake; 8) Sihw Lake; and 9) Purgatory
Creek.

Section 1. Section 901:01 subdivision 2 sub-
parts a. and b., and ;Mvision 3 of the
Shorewood City Code are hereby amended by ad-
ding the following:
Subd. 2. Excavation Permit::
a. Permit Required: No individual, firm,
corporation or other entity shall bereafter
open, lay out or excavate in, upon or
within 10 feet of any public street within

firm, corporation or other entity desiring

A LOCAL SANITARY SEWER SERVICE AVAILABILITY CHARGE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS:
Section I. Chapter 904 of the Shorewood City Code is hereby amended by repealing 904.18 Subd.
1 through 6, and adding the following:
904.18 Subd. l Purpose: The puupos of this Section is to provide for a method to finance
the reserved capacity portion of the sanitary sewer system. Revenues will reimburse the
sewer utility fulnd which through debt financed capital improvements, including current
capacity and excess or reserved capacity.

22 to Subd. 15 through 23 and to add a new Subd. 14 as follows:
904.03 Subd. 14 Reserve Capacity: That potion of the sanitary sewer collection system
which was designed and built in excess of the capacity required at the time of construc-
tion intended to accommodate future growth and development.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
publication.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. The City Code of the City of Shorewood is hereby amended by adding Title 1300, License, Permit, Service Charges and Miscellaneous
Fees to read as follows:
1 300.01 Purpose: Fees and charges by the City of Shorewood are established as set forth in other sections of the City Code and as set forth
in this Title 1300: If there is inconsistency between fees and charges established in this Title 1300 and other sections of the City Code,
the teens and conditions set forth in 1300 shall prevail. The City Council may amend this Tftle 1300 from time to time as its
sole discretion by simple majority of all of its mem bers.
