V V.-V LEGAL NOTICE ORDINANCE NO. 24 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 17 REGULATING THE USE OF HIGHWAYS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF SHOREWOOD, INCORPORATING PROVISIONS OF THE STATE HIGHWAY TRAFFIC REGULATION AC'T' BY REFERENCE, AND IMPOSING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF The Village Counucil of the Vil- lage of Shorewood, Minnesota, do ordain as follows: Section L That section 1 of Ordinance No. 17 of the Village of Shorewood be amended to read as follows: The regulatory provisions of Minnesota Statutes 45, Chapter 169, as amended by Laws 1947, Laws 1949, Laws 1951, Laws 1955, Laws 1957, and Laws 1959, are hereby adopted as a traffic ordi- nance regulating the use of high- ways, streets and alleys in the village and are hereby incorporat- ed and made part of this ordinance as completely as if set out here in full. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and publication. Passed by the Village Council of The Village of Shorewood this 13th day of October, 1959. LEST'ER R. AMENDMENT. That Section 7 of Ordinance No. 12 of the Village of Shorewood be amended by adding thereto the following: "Subsection 12. Operating a boat or other watercraft on the waters of Galpin's Lake within the 'harbor limits of or the village, with any motor or other source of power having a rated horsepower in excess of seven and one - half." SECTION 2. EFF"ECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and publication. Passed by the Council this 9th day of June, 1959. LESTER R.
