Southwest Trail Association

The Southwest Trails Association would like to extend an invitation to
the Mayor, City Council and Park Commission to tour the snowmobile railroad
corridor this winter. The purpose for the ride is to give each individual
first hand knowledge of this trail. Our organization will provide transportation
from the South Lake Minnetonka Public Saftey Department through the City of
Shorewood and on to Carver Park. Alternate transportation will be provided
back to the city.
Weather permitting, this ride could be scheduled for December. Again, I
would like to state that this ride is a fact finding tour. The City Council
and Park Commission will not be pressured by our special interests. We only
wish that you have enough unbiased information about this trail and how it
inter - connects with the surrounding areas.
