PARK COMMISSION MEETING
MINNEWASHTA SCHOOL
MINUTES October 16, 1978
Regular meeting of the City of Shorewood Park Commission called to
order by Chairman John Breckheimer at 7:30 P-M-
PresenttJohn Breckheimer, Drews and Goettelman.
Absent: Keeler, Raby, Schmid, Stein, Lindstrom, Nygaard
Chairman Breckheimer informed members of problems moving present
building to Cathcart and renovating the municipal building to
accomadate skaters. Heiland, Keeler and Breckheimer will have a
meeting.
Monday morning John will be present at a meeting with Elsa, Kelly,
and Larry Blackstead to discuss whether the project must go into
another impact study and if so it would take four weekst a public
hearing, etc. Later that afternoon J. Breckheimer had not heard
any results.
Monday, the 16th, Jerome ordered the new building and Breckheimer
called Norton regarding plans and plumbing. First issue will be
excavation.
There was alAo some discussion regarding the wearing of a road
track around the present Badger hockey field.
Keeler repoxted, after his arrival, that bids were open for the
• cement work. Chairman will go back to original cement bidder re-
garding drainage. Present Badger building will be put on a concrete

Now Field: Dis sion regarding boundrys for left-over room for

Ball Fields: Otthearts Lindstrom and Geottelman have remeasured
present field Slight repositioning of ball diamond would result
in a perfect 6ractice field. A few trees would have to be trans-
planted. Repbrt will be mandeto council for Spring action.
