Minutes - October 2, 1978 Elem. School
The regular meeting of the Shorewood Park Commission
was called to order at 7:30 Members presents
John Breckheimer, Chairman, Win Drews, Don Goettelman,
Jean Raby, and Conrad Schmidt. Absents Bill Keeler
(a Council meeting), Cordon i4indstrom, Bob
Ny7aard and Roger Stein.
Chairman Breckheimer brought members up to date on act-
ivity rep. the buildinT at Cathcart. He reported,
he visited "Flaytime Homes" and was imnressed will:n
the entire oi)eration. Hle received quotes and is in
contact with Eng. Jum Norton regarding plumbing lay-
out. Breckheimer will also present a report to the
Council later this same evening.
John also reported his conversation with Keeler and
Heiland regarding the moving of the Badger bldg. to
Cathcart. If a new building cannot be completed for
this season at Badger the maintenance bldg. could be
used in part as a warming house with a few minor al-
terations made. The positioning of the bldg. at Cath-
cart and the change of several lines in the ball field
would insure room for an additional field and enough
remaining space for a football or soccer field.
The conditions of Badger we discussed regarding the
drainage problems, the cleaning up of the line bound-
in,c- the tennis court and the dirt piles.
John will recommend to the Council to place the or-
der for the new building at-Badaer and report back
to the commission with the results.
