prove to be a mistake in the future.

The most obvious asset I can add to the Park Board is the geographical
representation of the Enchanted Island and Shady Island citizens of Shorewood.
From what I have observed the Long Range Park Plan does not indicate any
activity on "the islands".
Besides the geographical diversification factor, I have always believed the
development of parks by government at all levels is one of the best invest-
ments of public funds. Citizens are involved with park systems in all
aspects of their leisure time from casual use of city parks to outings at
county parks and vacations at state and national parks.
My participation in activities like cross-country skiing, biking, softball,
'tennis and -water sports provides a basis for involvement with the Shorewood
Park Board.
