PARK COMMISSION
MINUTES - May 1, 1978
ROLL CALL
The Shorewood Park Commission meeting was called to order at 8:00
PM by Chairman, Jim Robin at the Minnewashta Elementary School.
Present were Conrad Schmid, John Breckheimer, Gordon Lindstrom, Bill
Wyatt, Jean Raby, Roger Stein, and Judy McCusky and Bill Keeler.
CATHCART BUILDING
Vern Watten reportedly has been able to lower costs of the new
building to be constructed at Cathcart. Gordon Lindstrom will
contact Snoose Johnson for possible help from him.
Bill Keeler broughta brochure from Game Time Incorporated, feature -
ing an octogonal building equivalent to a 30 foot by 40 foot in size.
Jim will call the representative from Game Time, Inc.; Sussel, and
Wausau Homes to come to our next meeting.
Bill Wyatt will contact Vern Watten.
Final decision will be made at the next regular meeting.
SMITHTOWN BICYCLE TRAIL
Plans for the Smithtown bicycle trail will be ready at our next
meeting.
NEW FIELD
is Bill Keeler reported that we have some fill from Amesbury; excess
black.dirt will be sold to pay for further improvements at the
field.
Little League schedules should be available soon. Friday nights
are usually open for residents use.
NEXT PARK COMMISSION MEETING
Monday, May 15th at 8:00 P.M. will be our next meeting.
