The Shorewood Park Commission meeting was called to order at
8:00 PM by Chairman dim Robin at the Minnewashta Elementary
School. Present were: Jim Robin, Gordon Lindstrom, Judy
McCuskey, Bill Wyatt and Roger Stein. Also present were
Councilmen Bill Keeler and Jim Heiland.
CATHCART BUILDING
Bill Keeler will pursue negotiations for a house located near
the North Star Marina. Bill Wyatt will look for other bids
for the building designed by Vern Watten.
BIKE TRAILS
THe Plat Maps of Smithtown Road have been enlarged. Jim
suggested that 10' of Blacktop (5' be added to both sides) of
Smithtown Road and the trail be marked on both sides. The
issue will be studied further.
COMMUNITY SERVICES
The group was favorable toward Recreational Schedules for
classes to meet twice a week in each of the parks.
10 RAILROAD
Roger will call Cliff French to see if he would like to meet
with representatives of the cities, through which the track
runs. Carver Park is interested in using the line for trails.
