November 7, 1977
Members present: Bill Keeler, John Breckheimer, sill Wyatt, Jean Raby,
Judy McCuskey, Roger St6in.
Commission was brought up to date on Cathcart building plans for next spring.
Question was brought up in the application for Lawcon HUD Grant. John Breck—
heimer will check with Elsa as to when we may have further information.
Bill Wyatt notified board that the new trees have been put in at Badger and
that he has a trail layout for the exercise path.
The providing of trash cans for Badger was discussed. This will be checked
out for all parks.
The position of the winter sand pile at Badger should be moved so as to not
have a run —off to the park shrubs and grass.
The proposed bike trail along Smithtown Bay Road will be reviewed; to start,
Jim Robin will be getting the sewer layout and other plans from Jim Norton and
Jim Heiland.
John Breckheimer will contact Pete Klase of Lawcon on the date for presenting
our application.
The old warming house will be taken to city garage for repair and then placed
at Cathcart for this winter.
The goof in the new building at Cathcart was cussed and discussed for better
than an hour with some thoughts on what to do without, very little as to how
or why, so it seems like everyone is crossing their fingers and waiting. No
decision was made.
