Win Brews moved and John Breckheimer seconded, a motion that we set June lst as
the deaddline for sign erection. tvotion passed.
Coirinurity Services Summer activities are set; at the three parks. Flyers will
be mailed soon informing residents of the programs.
Cathcart Building - Building dimensions were discusser) with 21, x 1 0' being
suggested as a'suitable size for year -round use. Indoor plumbing, as opposed: to
satellites was also discussed.
Shady 'Hills Access - The possibility of using Dua�le i'uahl's land for access to

Ya.nor Park in moved to contact Jack Huttner to remove the vandalized building
at I. anon Park. Paulsen seconded the motion and it passed..
Ordnance - Gloria will write up a list of appropriate rules for our parks and
beach to be made into an ordinance.

HU Funds - Our plan for fund use must be submitted by May l')th. We will ask
- the Council to meet with us at 7 p.m. before their council meeting, T` onday, :4ay 10th.
Bill Wyatt moved that we utilize the HUD) funds to complete Banger and Cathcart
Parks with tennis courts al, Badger and a year - round. recreation house at Cathcart
We will also build an "exercise trail" at Badger and install a "free form" play
ground. Finally, funds will be used to build. a. bike trail on Smithtown Road,
beginning, at its junction to Highway 19 and continuing at least to Minnewasnta
School. It would begin connections between Cathcart and Barger and also feed into
the Hennepin County bike trail to be constructed on Highway 19 from i�lxcelsior
to R"avarre. .J'in Drews seconded the motion and it passed.
Johx� Breckheimer will ask the council to rewire bike licenses for Shorewood resi-
dents with proceeds going for hike trails.
Sloria will invite planner Nike Naylon to our next meeting, Day 17Lh.
