RESOLUTION NO. I0 -005
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FINAL IMPROVEMENTS AND AUTHORIZING
FINAL. PAYMENT FOR
THE SEA AREA WATER TOWER REHABILITATION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 05 ®04
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has entered into a contract with Classic Protective
Coatings, Inc., for City Project 05 -04, S.E. Area Water Tower Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has petitioned for final acceptance of the project based on
work performed to date; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has reviewed said Improvement and declares
that the Improvement appears to conform to the approved plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
The City hereby accepts the work completed, pursuant to a two year guarantee provided for in
said contract for construction and shall commence as of May 6, 2009 subject to the following
items:
1. The Contractor must make satisfactory showing that he has complied with the
provisions of Minnesota Statutes 290.92 requiring withholding State Income tax; and
2. Evidence in the Form of an affidavit that all claims against the Contractor by reasons
of the Contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured.
