Good Morning, I live at 5655 Fairway Dr. in Shorewood. I do some work In the tree care world
and am very familiar with the arborist in the community. I am an independent business owner
and have enough free time to give to the city. I also raise money regularly to plant trees
in Hopkins as that is where my business is located. I am not currently involved with

U.S. Marine Corps 2008 -2010: Twentynine Palms, California/ Iraq
Acted as the number two officer in infantry company comprised of 135 Marines, collaborated with all logistics, supply,
maintenance, communications, administrative, and tactical departments and acted as primary instructor for all facets of
training to include small arms employment, adherence to the maintenance cycle and awards composition.
• Ranked number one of six executive officers.
• Accounted and was responsible for $25 million worth of capital equipment which required monthly inventories, a
strict adherence to procedures, and unbending integrity.
• Created short term and long term strategic goals to achieve a myriad of training objectives which were met through
numerous training exercises one of which required coordination with five different units, supervising fifteen
instructors and teaching 80 students the fundamentals of infantry small unit leadership.
• Evaluated the company and built a progressive ten month training package that required the creation of performance
plans, strict tracking of goals, and continuous improvements in deficiencies.
• Organized and led distribution of all logistics consisting of food, water, ammunition, and fuel for 130 individuals for a
150 day period operating in Iraq under austere conditions.
• Supervised and conducted all company tactical operations for which required 24 hours a day multi- tasking while
executing over 100 missions in Iraq.
• Mentored, evaluated and instructed 6 managers, 12 supervisors and 120 employees on written evaluations, safety
techniques and operational procedures to create the highest ranked department in the organization.
Transition Team Leader - 1st Lieutenant U.S. Marine Corps 2007 -2008: Iraq
Taught, coached and mentored 225 Iraqi Policemen military tactics, ethics and leadership transcending language and cultural
barriers in order to improve security in Iraq.
• Hand - selected to serve a billet two levels higher than current rank.
• Worked and lived with Iraqi security forces for 180 days organizing logistics, running all tactical operations and
negotiating financial and diplomatic deals with local tribal leaders.
• Allocated and distributed Iraqi Police pay checks for three months until Iraqis were able to take control under Marine
supervision.
• Created reports and briefed Generals (CEOs) Colonels (COOS) and Majors (Vice Presidents) on status of Iraqi police
station.
• Demonstrated tremendous initiative and aptitude by learning basic Arabic while serving with Iraqi forces.
• Collaborated across cultures to create optimal security and organization which led to successful mission producing an
Iraqi Police force that no longer needing supervision.
• Selected as battalion's officer of the year for 2008.
Platoon Commander - 2nd Lieutenant U.S. Marine Corps 2005 -2007: Twentynine Palms, California
Led, supervised and trained 42 Marines in preparation for deployment to Iraq which required physical, intellectual and tactical
training.
Created a physical fitness regimen that increased scores by 20 %.
Taught ten different classes ranging from law of war and military ethics to urban combat techniques.
® Acted as the primary instructor and safety officer and coordinated logistics for 10 different live fire events requiring
strict adherence to procedures and policies in order to avoid injury.
