RESOLUTION NO. 10 -034
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO
CONTRACT NO. A052276 BETWEEN THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD AND
HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR ELECTION EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, on December 12, 2005, the Shorewood City Council adopted
Resolution No. 05 -106, authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into Lease
Agreement No. A052276 with Hennepin County for Election Equipment, AV T
Equipment, and related Hardware and Services for use in all City Elections.
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood desires to lease six (6) Model 100 Optical Scan
Precinct Count Units and related Hardware and Service, for use in all City elections, one in each
of the five polling places and one for Absentee Voting at City Hall;
WHEREAS, the County has arnended Agreement No. A052276, increasing the number
of M100 Optical Scan Precinct County Units to Six (from Five) at the current maintenance rate
charged to the County.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota:
That the Mayor and City Attorney are authorized to sign the Amendment to
Contract No. A052276 with Hennepin County for Election Equipment, AVT
Equipment, and related Hardware and Services for use in all City Elections.
