RESOLUTION NO. 11 -028
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
THE 2011 BITUMINOUS MILL, OVERLAYS AND APPURTENANT WORK
FOR VINE HILL ROAD,
CITY PROJECT NO. 11 -02
WHEREAS, the City of Minnetonka and the City of Shorewood entered into a
Joint Powers Agreement for the Vine Hill Road Mill and Overlay Project; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for local improvements
designated as the Vine Hill Road Rehabilitation Project, City of Minnetonka Project No.
11405, bids were received, opened on May 18, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Midwest Asphalt Corp. is the
lowest bidder in compliance with the specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Shorewood concurs with the City of
Minnetonka to award the contract to Midwest Asphalt Corp.
