RESOLUTION NO. 12 -005
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO
THE DESIGNATED MUNICIPAL STATE AID ROUTES
WHEREAS, Grant Lorenz from Smithtown Road to Birch Bluff Road (0.57 miles)
currently denoted as Municipal State Aid Route segment 216 -104 -010 be removed from the
Municipal State Aid system; and
WHEREAS, Eureka Road from Smithtown Road to Birch Bluff Road (0.52 miles)
previously denoted as Municipal State Aid Route segment 216 - 106 -010 be designated again; and
WHEREAS, Birch Bluff Road from Grant Lorenz to Eureka Road (0.43 miles) previously
denoted as Municipal State Aid Route segment 216- 105 -010 be designated again; and
WHEREAS, Eureka Road is not schedule for reconstruction within the City's five year
Capital Improvement Program, but is on the schedule for reconstruction in 2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood,
Minnesota:
Segment 216 - 104 -010; Grant Lorenz from Smithtown Road to Birch Bluff Road
(0.57 miles) be removed from the Municipal State Aid system.
2. Previous segment 21.6 -106 -010; Eureka Road from Smithtown Road to Birch Bluff
Road (0.52 miles) be reinstated to the Municipal State Aid system.
1 Previous segment 216 - 105 -010; Birch Bluff Road from Grant Lorenz to Eureka
Road (0.43 miles) be reinstated to the Municipal State Aid system.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHORE WOOD this 9 day
of January, 2012.
