CITY OF SHOREWOOD
A RESOLUTION ADDING GALPIN LAKE ROAD
TO THE MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET SYSTEM
FOR THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, as a requisite to qualify for state aid funding for streets, it is necessary that
the City Council designate certain streets within the City of Shorewood to comprise a Municipal
State Aid Street system; and
WHEREAS, the City Comprehensive Plan identifies Galpin Lake Road as a future
MSAS Route, in the Transportation Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the recommendations of the City Engineer and
has approved certain streets within the City to become a part of said system.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA:
That Galpin Lake Road from CR 117 (south city limits) to TH 7 shall be added to the
City of Shorewood MSAS system.
2. That the City Clerk provide a certified copy of this resolution by June 1, 2013 for
transmittal to the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 8th
