RESOLUTION NO. 13 -024
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNEHAHA CREEK WATERSHED DIS'T'RICT TO
ACCEPT A GRANT FOR MANAGING THE 2013 AIS INSPECTION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, The City of Shorewood has agreed to conduct an AIS (Aquatic Invasive
Species) Inspection Program on Christmas Lake for 2013; and
WHEREAS, The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (MCWD) has agreed to
provide grant money to offset a portion of the expense of the AIS Inspection Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
That the City Administrator, on behalf of the City of Shorewood, is hereby authorized to
enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, with the
Minnehaha Creek Watershed District for the management of the 2013 Christmas Lake AIS
Inspection Program.
