RESOLUTION NO. 13 -022
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO
ENTER INTO A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
SIDEWALK ADJACENT TO COUNTY ROAD 19
WHEREAS, The City of Shorewood proposes to construct a sidewalk along the east side
of County Road 19, between the driveway for the Hanus bus garage property and the South Lake
Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has agreed to provide grant money to offset a
portion of the expense of the sidewalk construction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
The Mayor and City Administrator, on behalf of the City of Shorewood, are hereby
authorized to enter into a Cooperative Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, with Hennepin County for the construction of the sidewalk on the east side of County
Road 19.
