RESOLUTION NO. 13 -025
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTE AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
THE COUNTY ROAD 19 SIDEWALK
CITY PROJECT NO. 12 -01
WHEREAS, the City contracted with Hansen Thorpe Pellinen Olson, Inc.
(HTPO) to prepare plans and specifications for the County Road 19 Sidewalk Project
(City Project No. 12 -01) and to obtain quotes from contractors for the construction of the
project; and
WHEREAS, HTPO has obtained quotes from three contractors, which quotes are
attached hereto and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Barber Construction, Inc, has
submitted the lowest quote for the construction of a bituminous sidewalk and the lowest
quote for an alternate concrete sidewalk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood that the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into a contract with Barber Construction, Inc. in the name of the City of Shorewood,
Project No. 12 -01, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the
City Council on file in the office of the City Clerk.
