RESOLUTION NO. 14 -073
A RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR
GALPIN LAKE ROAD SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 13 -06
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for local improvements designated as the
Galpin Lake Road Sidewalk Improverraent Project, City Project 13 -06, bids were received, opened
on August 19, 2014, tabulated according to law, and such tabulation is attached hereto and made a
part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Rosti Construction of Jordan, MN is the
lowest bidder in compliance with the specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood
as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to reject all bids received for this
project based upon project costs exceeding the budgeted construction costs.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
the deposits made with the said bids.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 25th day
of August, 2014.
