A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, AND AUTHORIZING WSB &
ASSOCIATES TO PREPARE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES
CITY PROJECT 14 -10
SMITHTOWN ROAD (EAST) TRAIL SEGMENT
WHEREAS, the Feasibility Report, Trail Improvements, Smithtown Road — City Project
No. 14-10, for the City of Shorewood, dated 27 October 2014 (the Feasibility Report) was
accepted by the Shorewood City Council at its meeting on 27 October 2014, and;
WHEREAS, the Feasibility Report provided a preliminary layout and cost estimates for
the construction of a sidewalk to be built along the south side of Smithtown Road, between the
South Lake Minnetonka LRT Trail and County Road 19;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota:
1. Such improvement is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible as detailed in the
Feasibility Report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as Shorewood (East) Trail Segment.
WSB & Associates is hereby authorized to prepare Plans, Specifications and Cost
Estimates for such improvement pursuant to WSB's proposal, dated 2 December
2014.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 8th
day of December 2014.
