RESOLUTION NO. 15-008
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS AND
AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT FOR
SMITHTOWN ROAD SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
SAP 216-101-004
CITY PROJECT 13-04
WHEREAS, on May 28, 2013, the City of Shorewood entered into a contract with Chard
Tiling and Excavating, Inc. for City Project 13-04 for the Smithtown Road Sidewalk
Improvement Project; and,
WHEREAS, the Contractor has substantially completed the project work and has
requested City acceptance of the project and final payment for the work performed and
documented to date; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made final inspection of the project and recommends
acceptance and final payment be made by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
The City hereby accepts the work completed pursuant to said contract and authorizes final
payment to the Contractor, and all warranties shall commence as of the date of this resolution.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 26th
day of January, 2015.
