A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS
AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT FOR
2014 MILL AND OVERLAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 14 -04
WHEREAS, on September 2, 2014, the City of Shorewood entered into a contract with
GMH Asphalt Corporation, for City Project 14 -04 for the 2014 Mill and Overlay Improvement
Project; and,
WHEREAS, the Contractor has substantially completed the project work and has
requested City acceptance of the project and final payment for the work performed and
documented to date; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made final inspection of the project and recommends
acceptance and final payment be made by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
The City hereby accepts the work completed pursuant to said contract and authorizes final
payment to the Contractor, and all warranties shall commence as of the date of substantial
completion, October 14, 2014.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 23rd
day of November, 2015.
