RESOLUTION NO. 16 -065
RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, Notice of Public Hearing on the proposed vacation of certain drainage and
utility easements in the City of Shorewood, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was published in the
Excelsior /Shorewood edition of the SLTN- SAILOR NEWSPAPER on the 4th and 1 lth days of
August 2016 and in the LAKER NEWSPAPER on the 6th and 13th days of August 2016; and
WHEREAS, said Notice of Public Hearing was posted in three (3) locations in the City
of Shorewood; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Shorewood heard all interested parties on the
question of vacation at a Public Hearing on the 22nd day of August 2016, in the Council
Chambers at the City Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that the drainage and utility easements described in Exhibit A, attached,
be and hereby are vacated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Applicant shall record this resolution with the
Hennepin County Recorder or Registrar of Titles within thirty (30) days of the date of the
certification of this resolution.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 22nd day of
August 2016.

Easements to be vacated:
Utility and drainage easements over, under and across the Westerly 10 feet and the
Southerly 10 feet of that part of the following described tract which lies Northerly of the
Southerly 129.45 feet thereof of that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
described as beginning at the Northwest comer thereof; thence South along the West line
thereof 453.65 feet; thence East parallel to the North line thereof to the center line of State
Highway No. 41; thence Northeasterly along the center line of said highway to the North
line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence West to the point of
beginning, Section 34, Township 117, Range 23; said Tract comprising Lot 175, Auditor's
Subdivision No. 135, Hennepin County, Minnesota, except that part thereof lying Southerly
of the following described line: commencing at Northwest comer of said Southwest Quarter
of Southeast Quarter; thence South along the West line of said Southwest Quarter of
Southeast Quarter a distance of 133.13 feet to point of beginning of line being described;
thence deflecting 68 degrees 41 minutes 35 seconds to center line of State Highway No. 41,
and there ending, lying Southeasterly of State Highway No. 7.
