RESOLUTION NO. 16 -088
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS
AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT FOR
THE 2016 MILL AND OVERLAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 16 -03
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood Council awarded the contract for the 2016 Mill and
Overlay Improvement Project, City Project 16 -03, on April 25, 2016 to GMH Asphalt
Corporation of Chaska, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has completed the project work and has requested City
acceptance of the project and final payment for the work performed and documented to date; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made final inspection of the project and recommends
acceptance and final payment be made by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
The City hereby accepts the work completed pursuant to said contract and authorizes final
payment to the Contractor, and all warranties shall commence as of November 14, 2016.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 28th
day of November, 2016.
