NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that seated bids will be received by the
City of Shorewood, the City of Victoria, and the City of Minnetrista un-
til 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the Shorewood City Hall,
5755 Country Club Road, Shorewood, MN 55331, and will be publicly
opened and read at said time and place by representatives of the Cities
of Shorewood, Victoria, Minnetrista, and Excelsior. Said proposals for
the furnishing street maintenance materials and service for the following
improvements:
Seal Coat Improvements:
City of Shorewood 138,600 So Yd
City of Victoria 53,200 Sq Yd
City of Minnetrista 25,700 Sq Yd
Crack Fill Improvements:
City of Minnetrista 86 Rd Sta. (Roadways)
2500 Lin Ft. (Trails)
Fog Seal Improvements (Trails)
City of Minnetrista 2,100 Gallons
The bids must be submitted on the Proposal Forms provided in ac-
cordance with the Contract Documents, Plans and Specifications dated
March 28, 2016 by WSB &Associates, Inc., 477 Temperance Street, St.
Paul, MN 55101, which are on file with the City Administrator of Shore-
wood and may be seen at the office of the Consulting Engineers or at
the office of the City of Shorewood Administrator.
Complete digital Proposal Forms, Plans, and Specifications for use
by contractors submitting a bid are available at www.questcdn.com.
You may download the digital plan documents for $30.00 (which in-
cludes the current Standard City Specification) by inputting Quest proj-
ect 4 4394159 on the website's Project Search page. Please contact

in free membership registration, downloading, and working with this
digital project information,
An optional paper set of Proposal Forms, Plans, and Specifications
may be obtained from the Consulting Engineers, WSB & Associates,
Inc., 477 Temperance Street, St, Paul, MN 55101, for a nonrefundable
fee of $100.00 per set, check made payable to WSB & Associates, Inc.,
which includes $25.00 for the 2016 Edition City of Shorewood Standard
Specification.
Bids will only be accepted from Contractors who purchase digital or
paper Bidding Documents as specified above.
No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City of
Shorewood and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, or
certified check, or bid bond made payable to the City of Shorewood for
five percent (5%) of the amount bid, to be forfeited as liquidated dam-
ages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter
promptly into a written contract and furnish the required bond.
The provisions of Minn. Stat. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are
imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons
or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement
for Bids/RFP of the City shall comply with the provisions of the statute.
No bids may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days from the
date of opening of bids. The Cities of Shorewood, Victoria, Minnetrista,
and Excelsior each reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
