RESOLUTION NO. 17 -028
RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS —
BERCHILD /CALLIES LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT
WHEREAS, Notice of Public Hearing on the proposed vacation of certain drainage and
utility easements in the City of Shorewood, Hennepin County, Minnesota, was published in the
Excelsior /Shorewood edition of the SUN•SAILOR NEWSPAPER on the 16th and 23`d days of
March 2017 and in the LAKER NEWSPAPER on the 18th and 25th days of March 2017; and
WHEREAS, said Notice of Public Hearing was posted in three (3) locations in the City
of Shorewood; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Shorewood heard all interested parties on the
question of vacation at a Public Hearing on the 1 0th day of April 2017, in the Council Chambers
at the City Hall.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota, that the drainage and utility easements described in Exhibit A, attached,
be and hereby are vacated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Applicants shall record this resolution
contemporaneously with the resolution approving a minor subdivision and combination, dated
10 April 2017, with the Hennepin County Recorder or Registrar of Titles within thirty (30) days
of the date of the certification of this resolution.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 10th day of
April 2017.

PROPOSED VACATED DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT:
That part of the drainage and utility easements on Lot 3, Block 1, LARSON ESTATES,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, according to the recorded plat thereof, that lie Northeasterly of the
following described line:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot 3; thence Westerly along the North line
of said Lot 3 a distance of 93.51 feet to the point of beginning of said line; thence deflect
147 degrees 47 minutes 16 seconds to the East line of said Lot 3 and said line there
terminating.
