HEARING ON RIVIERA
LANE AND SHOREWOOD
LANE STREET AND UTILITY
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the
City Council of the City of Shore-
wood will meet in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall, 5755
Country Club Road, Shorewood,
MN, at 7:00 pm, or as soon there-
after as possible, on April 24, 2017,
to consider making the following
improvements:
Street and Utility Improvements
along Riviera Lane and Shorewood
Lane
This project consists of street,
drainage and utility improvements
generally consisting of reconstruc-
tion of the street meeting City de-
sign standards with concrete curb
and gutter, storm sewer, exten-
sion of watermain, hydrants and
services to each parcel in the im-
provement area, and minor sanitary
sewer improvements related to re-
duction in inflow and infiltration into
the system. The improvements are
identified below:
1. Watermain improvements
considered for assessment include:
• Riviera Lane south of Yellow-
stone Trail
• Shorewood Lane north of
Smithtown Road
Pursuant it.) Minnesota Statutes
429.011 to 429.111, portions of
the improvement will be assessed
to the abutting property owners of
the named streets. The estimated
total cost of the improvement is
$2,312,500 for watermain Option
1 and $2,284,800 for watermain
Option 2.
Such persons desiring to be
heard with reference to the pro-
posed improvements will be heard
at this meeting.
