' Extension Project

The City of Shorewood will be continuing the extension of watermain from the intersection of
Yellowstone Trail and Minnetonka Drive to Chaska Road. The Contractor completed the installation of
watermain from the intersection of Yellowstone Trail and Minnetonka Drive, to the east along
Yellowstone Trail, south along Glencoe Road, and east along Park Street to Pheasant Street in 2016. The
installation of watermain crossing TH 7 was completed this past winter. The Contractor will continue
the extension along Chaska Road, as well as the remaining restoration items along roadways disturbed
north of TH 7 this year.
The Contractor will begin fine grading and remaining restoration and turf establishment along roadways
north of TH 7 Wednesday, April 191h, weather permitting. Roadways north of TH 7 will be open to traffic
but motorists should expect minor delays until the work has been completed.
The Contractor will begin pavement removals along Chaska Road Friday, April 215'with installation of
new watermain and storm sewer facilities to begin the week of April 24'", weather permitting. Chaska
Road will be closed to traffic between TH 7 and Mayflower Road throughout the course of construction.
