RESOLUTION NO. 17 -047
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS
AND AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT FOR
THE SMITHTOWN ROAD EAST SIDEWALK EXTENSION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 1410
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood Council awarded the contract for the
construction of sidewalk along the south side of Smithtown Road located between the
Lake Minnetonka Reginal Trail (LRT) and Country Club Road to S. M. Hentges, Inc. of
Jordan, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has completed the project work and has requested
City acceptance of the project and final payment for the work performed and documented
to date; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made final inspection of the project and
recommends acceptance and final payment be made by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
The City hereby accepts the work completed pursuant to said contract and
authorizes final payment to the Contractor, and all warranties shall commence as of the
date of substantial completion, May 2, 2017.
