RESOLUTION 17 -046
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
THE FREEMAN PARK SOUTH PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 17 -12
WHEREAS, pursuant to an invitation to provide quotes for local improvements
designated as the Freeman Park South Parking Lot Improvement Project, City Project 17 -12,
quotes were received, opened on May 3, 2017, and tabulated according to law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Wm Mueller & Sons, Inc. is the
lowest quote in compliance with the quote documents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with Wm Mueller & Sons, Inc. in the name of the City of Shorewood, Project No. 17-
12, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
2. That the City Cleric is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
contractors providing quotes the deposits made with their quotes, except for the deposits of the
successful quote and the next two lowest quotes, which shall be retained until a contract has been
signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 8th
day of May, 2017.
