Yellowstone • Road,
Park Street, Chaska Road
This newsletter is intended to provide you with
information on upcoming work that will be
occurring adjacent to your property. The City of
Shorewood will be continuing the extension of
watermain from the intersection of Yellowstone
Trail and Minnetonka Drive to Chaska Road.
The Contractor completed the installation of
watermain from the intersection of Yellowstone
Trail and Minnetonka Drive, to the east along
Yellowstone Trail, south along Glencoe Road, and
east along Park Street to Pheasant Street in 2016.
The installation of watermain crossing TH 7 was
completed this past winter. The Contractor will
continue the extension along Chaska Road, as well
as the remaining restoration items along roadways
disturbed north of TH 7, in the spring /summer of
2017.
Although we work to minimize inconveniences,
construction activities will generate dust, noise, and
temporary inconveniences. Construction will
generate vibrations from time -to -time, which may
feel uncomfortable or may rattle objects in your
home. We request your patience in the matter and
suggest that, for your protection, you take a
moment to look around your home and locate
items of value which may be subject to falling off of
shelves or walls due to vibration. As a precaution,
please remove these items and store them safely
until the construction activities are completed.
It will be the project team's goal to minimize the
impact to residents during construction activities.
As with all construction projects, patience and
communication are the greatest assets to
completing a successful project. Therefore, we
request your patience in dealing with construction
issues and invite you to contact us with your
questions, comments, and concerns as they arise
throughout the project.
