A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT
AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR
MANN LANE, RIVIERA LANE AND SHOREWOOD LANE
STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, CITY PROJECT 17 -04
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized preparation of a revision to the Feasibility
Report for the Riviera Lane and Shorewood Lane Street and Utility Improvement Project,
City Project 17 -04, to include Mann Lane and Maple Street on September 6, 2017; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the October 9, 2017 City Council work session
discussion regarding trail improvements within the City, the trail extension next to Country
Club Road from the current terminus to Yellowstone Trail, and the trail extension next to
Yellowstone Trail from Country Club Road to Lake Linden Drive was to be included the
feasibility report; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed
improvements are necessary, cost - effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as
proposed or in connection with some other improvement; and the estimated cost of the
improvement as recommended.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota:
1. The Council receives the Feasibility Report prepared by WSB; and
2. The Council will consider the improvement of Mann Lane, Riviera Lane and
Shorewood Lane Street and Utility Improvement Project, City Project 17 -04, in
accordance with the report at an estimated cost of $1,667,100; and
3. Authorizes the preparation of plans and specifications for the improvements on
Mann Lane, Riviera Lane and Shorewood Lane.
