RESOLUTION NO. 18 -009
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PUBLICATION OF
ORDINANCE NO. 551 BY TITLE AND SUMMARY
WHEREAS, at a duly called meeting on January 31, 2018, the City Council of the City
of Shorewood adopted Ordinance No. 551 entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER
104.03 OF THE SHOREWOOD CITY CODE PERTAINING TO ADMINISTRATIVE
ENFORCEMENT "; and,
WHEREAS, The City Council has adopted a lengthy ordinance amending City Code
section 104.03 to require an application fee for appeals and adding procedures for determining
who pays for the cost of the administrative hearing officer. The purpose of this summary is to
inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance and to publish only a summary of the
ordinance with the full ordinance being on file in the office of the City Clerk during regular
office hours;
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SHOREWOOD:
The City Council finds that the above title and summary of Ordinance No. 551 clearly
informs the public of intent and effect of the Ordinance.
2. The City Clerk is directed to publish Ordinance No. 551 by title and summary, pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes, Section 412.191, subdivision 4. Such summary is to be
substantially the same as the attached form.
3. A full copy of the Ordinance is available at Shorewood City Hall and on the city's website.
ADOPTED by the Shorewood City Council on this 31st day of January 2018.
