RESOLUTION 18 -011
APPROVING 2018 UPDATED MASTER FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood and its activities as a municipality requires setting forth
fees and charges to reimburse the city for administrative and other expenses related to the issuing
of permits, licenses and other services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood must maintain a relevant schedule of fees and regularly
audit their effectiveness; and
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has established fees for licensing, permits, programs, and
services that include but are not limited to building, zoning, planning, business, animal, park and
recreation, rentals, solicitors, fire prevention, utility, franchise, administrative citations, and other
miscellaneous fees that further the health, safety and welfare of the community at large; and
WHEREAS, all fees and charges shall be fixed and determined by the council and set forth in
the master fee schedule which will be adopted by resolution and uniformly enforced; and
WHEREAS, the Shorewood Master Fee Schedule has been audited and the following changes
have been recommended for the 2018 Master Fee Schedule as described for the city council at
the regular city council meeting held on January 31, 2018 and as delineated in the Proposed
Master Fee Schedule for 2018 attached as Appendix A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Shorewood, the
updated 2018 Master Fee Schedule for the City of Shorewood is adopted.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Shorewood this 31 st day of January
2018.
