RESOLUTION NO. 18 -063
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATES AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR
BOULDER BRIDGE WELL CONTROL PROJECT,
CITY PROJECT 18 -01
WHEREAS, Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc. has prepared
Plans, Specifications and Estimate for the Boulder Bridge Well Control Project, dated May 24,
2018 for said improvement; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has determined that the Plans, Specifications
and Estimate are found to be in order.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood, Minnesota:
1. Plans, Specifications and Estimates were prepared by Advanced Engineering and
Environmental Services, Inc., for such improvement. Said Plans, Specifications and
Estimate are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an
advertisement for bids, attached hereto as Exhibit A, Advertisement For Bids, upon the
making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall
state that bids will be opened and considered by the City at 2:00 p.m. on July 12, 2018 in
the City Hall Council Chambers, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and
filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or
certified check payable to the Clerk for 10 percent of the amount of each bid.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 12th
day of June 2018.
