RESOLUTION NO. 18 -086
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT AND
VARIANCES TO LOT AREA AND WIDTH FOR
WOODHAVEN 7 "H ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood submitted the preliminary and final plat of the
Woodhaven 7th Addition in the manner required for the platting of land under the Shorewood
City Code and under Chapter 462 of Minnesota Statues, and all proceedings have been duly had
thereunder; and
WHEREAS, the property is legally described as:
Outlot A, Woodhaven Second Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota, and
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood proposed a lot area and width variance for the lot,
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Chanhassen currently provides water to the area of the City of
Shorewood where the lot is located.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. The preliminary and final plat of Woodhaven 7th Addition is hereby approved in
accordance with the plans submitted August 10, 2018.
2. The variances to allow a lot with an area of 15,203 square feet and 89 feet of lot
width where 20,000 square feet and 100 feet of lot width is required in the R -1C zoning district,
are hereby approved in accordance with the plans submitted August 10, 2018.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the plat and the
Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute the water connection agreement
on behalf of the City Council.
4. The final plat, together with this Certified Resolution and the water connection
agreement may be filed with Hennepin County.
