09/21/2018 Road Construction UpdatesCITY OF SHOREWOOD ROAD CLOSURES AND ACTIVITY UPDATED SEPTEMBER 21, 2018
Current construction activity involves 4 roadways in Shorewood.
1. FUTURE ROAD CLOSURE: Riviera Lane from Yellowstone Trail to Cul -de -Sac
2. CONSTRUCTION (CLOSURE NOT ANTICIPATED): Lake Linden Drive from TH 7 to Approx. 200 feet South of Maple
Street
3. ROAD CLOSURE: Shorewood Lane from CR 19 to Cul -de -sac
4. FUTURE ROAD CLOSURE: Mann Lane from Eureka Road (South) to Seamans Drive
1. FUTURE ROAD CLOSURE: Riviera Lane from Yellowstone Trail to Cul -de -Sac
This roadway has been open & experiencing some construction activity (small utility relocations, tree
removals, & miscellaneous pavement removals). Due to the recent rain events, watermain
construction along Riviera Lane has been postponed. Watermain construction is tentatively
scheduled to begin Wednesday, September 26t ", weather permitting. Door hangers will be provided
to residents along Riviera Lane in anticipation of the closure. The closure is anticipated to last one
day. Following the closure, construction along Riviera Lane will require one lane to be closed during
construction. Residents will be notified of parking restrictions during construction operations.
2. CONSTRUCTION (CLOSURE NOT ANTICIPATED): Lake Linden Drive from TH 7 to Approximately 200 feet
South of Maple Street
The Contractor is anticipated to complete the remaining watermain connections on Lake Linden Drive Monday
September 24th and Tuesday, September 25th, weather permitting. The work is not anticipated to have a road
closure but will require flagging operations to ensure motorists safe passage.

3. ROAD CLOSURE: Shorewood Lane from CR 19 to Cul -de -sac
The Contractor has completed the remaining utility construction and excavating /building the road
section up to and including aggregate surface along Shorewood Lane. The Contractor is anticipated to
complete concrete curb and gutter installation mid -next week. The Contractor will continue to
coordinate directly with the Fire Department until Shorewood Lane is paved.
