A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF PLAYGROUND SURFACE
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood ( "City ") desires to redevelop Badger Park and has
spent considerable time and effort reviewing concept site plans and playground equipment; and
WHEREAS, the City budgeted funds in the 2018 and 2019 capital improvements plan
for the playground rehab and related expenses; and
WHEREAS, the City reviewed has received a quote for the playground surface under the
state equipment bids from Minnesota /Wisconsin Playground;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Shorewood hereby accepts the submitted quote of $107,451 for the Badger Park playground
surface, subsurface aggregate, and installation by Minnesota /Wisconsin Playground.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 22nd day of
October, 2018.
