18-109A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Richard W. Denman and Linda P. Denman (Applicants) desires to keep a
cellar door that provides access to their basement at 5865 Glencoe Avenue but is located within a
drainage and utility easement; and
WHEREAS, the City has certain rights within the drainage and utility easements that
would otherwise prohibit structures from encroaching; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the request for an encroachment agreement and
found their interests would be maintained.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Shorewood hereby approves the encroachment agreement and authorizes the Mayor and City
Administrator to execute the agreement on the City's behalf.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 22nd day of
October, 2018.
