A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE
2018 ORGANICS RECYCLING GRANT FROM HENNEPIN COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood ("City") Hennepin County grants recycling dollars
for cities offering curbside organics collection to residents;
WHEREAS, a primary focus of the Hennepin. County zero waste plan is diverting
organics from the trash by proposing requirements for cities;
WHEREAS, City of Shorewood encourages residents to participate in organics
recycling;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Shorewood hereby accepts the Hennepin Count Organics Recycling Grant in the amount of $981
for 2018 organics recycling.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SHOREWOOD this 26th day of
November, 2018.
