Dear Glen Road / Amlee Road /Manitou Lane Resident,
Last month you were sent notification of the proposed 2020 street improvement project in your neighborhood.
The proposed project includes reconstruction of Glen Road, Amlee Road and Manitou Lane, installation of storm
sewer and an option to install watermain. Thank you to those who participated in the online survey and provided
feedback on the potential water main extension and information regarding drainage issues. Almost half of the
residents who live on Glen Road, Manitou Lane or Amlee Road responded to the survey; of those 56.5% of
respondents on Glen Road, Manitou Lane or Amlee Road want water; 26.1% do not and 17.4% are undecided.
Before requesting city council approval to begin preliminary project work such as topographic survey and updating
the feasibility study, staff would like to meet with the residents at an open house.

The purpose of the open house is to answer residents' questions about the proposal, receive residents' input on
the proposed project, provide an opportunity for residents who did not fill out the survey to participate, and to
receive feedback regarding the communication process thus far. The open house format is offered so that
residents can stop in at their convenience and talk to a staff member. If you are unable to attend and have
questions, or if you would like to discuss the project in advance of the open house, please email or call me at

Please fill out and bring the enclosed orange postcard so the city has all of your up -to -date contact information for
the project; the City's Communications Coordinator has found email correspondence to be the most effective
means of project communication.
