ADJOURN City of Shorewood Council Meeting Item #2 Title/Subject: Refuse Survey Meeting Date: February 11, 2018 MEETING Prepared by: Greg Lerud, City Administrator TYPE WORK SESSION Attachments: Draft survey questions Background: Following the January 11 work session meeting with Peter Leatherman, Mr. Leatherman said he would provide a draft list of questions for the council to consider as the final survey is put together. That list is included with this memo. The original proposal called for 20 question units. Mr. Leatherman’s suggestion for determining what questions to ask was to have the council come up with the hierarchy of what information you want to learn from the survey and then select the questions. The council can select more than 20 questions, and according to the proposal, each additional question unit is an additional $135. Mr. Leatherman will be present at the work session. Next Steps and Timeline: Assuming all of the questions are selected at the work session, Mr. Leatherman will prepare the final questionnaire for council review and approval at the February 25 council meeting. Mission Statement: The City of Shorewood is committed to providing residents quality public services, a healthy environment, a variety of attractive amenities, a sustainable tax base, and sound financial management through effective, efficient, and visionary leadership.
