The City Council authorized the preparation of a feasibility study and preliminary design for a 2020 street
improvement project that includes your neighborhood. The reconstruction of Glen Road, Amlee Road and
Manitou Lane, installation of storm sewer and an option to install watermain is proposed for 2020.
The City's consultant engineering firm WSB will be conducting a field survey and taking measurement in your
neighborhood. During the week of April 15th, you may notice a survey crew taking measurements in the street
roadway areas and, to a limited extent, in your front yard adjacent to the road. These measurements will be used
in the study and assist with the design. Utilities such as gas, electric, telecommunications and cable will be
temporarily marked with flags or paint. These markings are temporary, and can be removed once the survey
crews have completed their work in your area.
