19-047A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTE AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
THE 2019 PAVEMENT MARKING PROJECT, CITY PROJECT 19 -03
WHEREAS, pursuant to an invitation to provide quotes for local improvements
designated as the 2019 Pavement Marking Project, quotes were received, opened on May 9,
2019, and tabulated according to law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Sir Lines -A -Lot the lowest quote in
compliance with the quote documents in the amount of $47,362.50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Shorewood as follows:
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
contract with Sir Lines -A -Lot in the name of the City of Shorewood, according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
contractors providing quotes the deposits made with their quotes, except for the deposits of the
successful quote and the next two lowest quotes, which shall be retained until a contract has been
signed.
