ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
BIRCH BLUFF ROAD, COUNTRY CLUB ROAD,
EDGEWOOD ROAD, EXCELSIOR BOULEVARD, AND
LAKE LINDEN ROAD MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for the construction
of Birch Bluff Road, Country Club Road, Edgewood Road, Excelsior
Boulevard, and Lake Linden Road Mill and Overlay Project will be re-
ceived by City of Shorewood, MN at Shorewood City Hall located at
5755 Country Club Road, Shorewood, Minnesota 55331 until 10:00 am
local time on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at which time the Bids received
will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the furnishing of
all labor and materials for the construction, complete in- place, of the
following approximate quantities:
11,100 S Y Edge Mill Bituminous Pavement (4 -foot)
3,400 TON Bituminous Overlay Paving
400 L F Bituminous Curb
10 S Y Concrete Flume
1000 S Y Bituminous Pavement Removal (Alternate 1)
220 C Y Common Excavation and Class 5 (Alternate 1)
250 TON Bituminous Patching (Alternate 1)
500 S Y Bituminous Trail Pavement Removal (Alternate 2)
90 TON Bituminous Trail Paving (Alternate 2)
The provisions of MINN. STAT. 160.285 Responsible Contractor are
imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or
companies providing a response /submission to the Advertisement for
Bids of the City of Shorewood shall comply with the provisions of the
statute.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a
unit price basis for the base Bid, with any alternate bid items as indicat-
ed on the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: WSB, 178 East 9th
Street, Suite 200, St. Paul, MN 55101. Direct questions about this Proj-

be examined at the City of Shorewood.
Complete digital Bidding Documents for use by Contractors sub-
mitting a bid are available at www.auestcdn.com. Bidding Documents
may be downloaded as portable document format (PDF) files for a non-
refundable fee of $30.00 by inputting Quest project #6368662 on the
website's Project Search page.
Bids will only be accepted from Contractors who purchase Bidding
Documents as specified above.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions
to Bidders.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to
waive any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn
for a period of sixty (60) days.
