Open House 10-10-19 letter Dearresidentorpropertyowner, TheCityofShorewoodisresponsibletomaintainthepublicroadwaysthroughoutthecity.Councilandstaff havebeenworkingtodevelopaplanforstreetprojects,andgiventheconditionofGlenRoad,AmleeRoad,and ManitouLane,alongwithotherprojectconsiderations,thisareawasidentifiedasapriorityandtheroadsare scheduledforaprojectin2020. Improvementsproposedincludereconstructingtheexistingrural,residentialroadways.Theproposed improvementsincluderemovingtheexistingpavement,correctingthesubgrade,installingconcretecurband gutter,stormsewer,andinstallingnewpavement.Additionalimprovementscurrentlybeingconsideredinclude theextensionofwatermainandservices.Staffisintheprocessoffinalizingthefeasibilityreportandwouldlike feedbackfromtheneighborhoodpriortopresentingthereporttotheCityCouncil.
