STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION DENYING THE REQUEST TO VACATE AN EASEMENT ACROSS
5609 MANITOU ROAD IN TONKA BAY
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood has a utility easement, Document No. 3650838,
across 5609 Manitou Road in the City of Tonka Bay; and
WHEREAS, the easement provides water and sewer access to the Shorewood Public
Works building and the Public Safety building; and
WHEREAS, the City of Shorewood received a request from a developer to vacate that
easement in order to construct an apartment building project; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on November 12, 2019 to consider the request,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA that the Council hereby DOES NOT approve the
easement vacation request.
Adopted by the City Council of Shorewood, Minnesota this 12th day of November
2019.
