A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH METROPOLITAN COUNCIL
FOR A WATER EFFICIENCY GRANT
WHEREAS, the City applied for and received a grant from the Metropolitan Council to
Assist the city in promoting water efficiency; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the proposed contract for managing the program and
recommends approval of the agreement,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SHOREWOOD, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Hereby approves Clean Water Fund Grant Agreement No. SG-13474 with the
Metropolitan Council.
2. Authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to execute documents on behalf of the
city to manage the program.
Adopted by the City Council of Shorewood, Minnesota this 13th day of January,
2020.
