ADJOURN City of Shorewood Council Meeting Item 2 Title/Subject: Western Shorewood Stormwater Plan Meeting Date: February 10, 2020 MEETING Prepared By: Greg Lerud, City Administrator TYPE Reviewed By: Larry Brown, Director of Public Works WORKSESSION Attachments: Barr Engineering Draft Plan Background: Time did not allow for an adequate council discussion at the last work session when Barr presented their draft report for the Western Shorewood Stormwater plan. Problem areas were identified from previous engineering reports, observed field conditions, as well as feedback city staff has received from residents regarding stormwater issues. The council directed staff and Barr Engineering to look at the issues to determine if a comprehensive solution could be done to address the issues. Staff is requesting council feedback on the draft that was presented last week by Jennifer Koehler, Senior Water Resources Engineer at Barr Engineering. Staff will take council direction as we put together a capital improvement plan that incorporates these proposed improvements into the overall CIP. Mission Statement: The City of Shorewood is committed to providing residents quality public services, a healthy environment, a variety of attractive amenities, a sustainable tax base, and sound financial management through effective, efficient, and visionary leadership.
